N2  - Molecular characterization of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) is important to understand the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of tuberculosis (TB). However, there is limited information on molecular characteristics and drug-resistant patterns of MTB in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) in India. Thus, this study aimed to determine the molecular characteristics and drug resistance patterns of MTB in patients with PTB in India.
